My husband came home with the news that we were invited to a Halloween party at his bosses’ house. They are making into an old fashioned masquerade ball. They request that we all wear renaissance dress costumes. I felt bad, because we hadn’t bought the kids costumes yet. I was worried about the cost of our renaissance costume clothing. I didn’t know if we had the money to buy costumes for all of us this year. My husband swore we could manage it just fine. Our son first chose a knight costume called a dragon. Then he found the warrior kids knight costume. He just couldn’t decide on one. Dad wasn’t doing much better. First he decided he was going to order the renaissance knight costume with the cape. Then he wanted to be the evil knight. But he had a change of heart on that one too. He thought that costume had a little too much armor on it. So he kept looking at the website for more suggestions. Before too long they finally had it figured out. At last they knew what they wanted to wear to the party. They ordered costumes and accessories for their outfits. Our son chose the child’s knight costume for slaying dragons. The only accessories he needed was a sword and shield. Dear old dad decided to wear the King Arthur knights costumes. So Dad wanted his sword and shield too. Dad also had to order a helmet to wear with his costume. Our son’s costume came with a helmet, chest piece and shoulder guards. He picked out a pretty nice looking costume. They were going crazy watching for the packages to arrive everyday. It was only around six days when the costumes were delivered to our door.
They tried on their knight costumes just as soon as I handed them over. They are going to have such a great time at this party with the scouts. They are just marking the days off the calendar in anticipation. It really is like having two kids around now. I have had to put up with Sir Lancelot and Sir Galahad doing battle with swords in hand ever since they got the costumes. I believe they have fought every battle that King Arthurs knights could possibly been involved in. There has been at least 6 dragons and dozens of bad guys slain in my livingroom. This is not a Halloween that will easily be forgotten. I’m wondering if Lady Guinevere had to put up with dragons in her livingroom too.

I was informed yesterday that we have to attend a party for Halloween at a friends house. His wife gave me a call yesterday to remind me about the party. Obviously my husband forgot to tell me. I told her we were all excited about attending. So now I need to put together costumes for the kids and for us. I did kind of like the idea of going to a party. The kit took care of the facial part of the costume. All we had to do then was order the wolf hands to go with it. Our teen daughter decided on an Indian princess costume. A giant milk shake was our youngest sons choice. I thought he was kidding until I saw the costume. The giant milk shake costume was real. So that took care of the kids Halloween costumes. Then I moved on to ours.

I was really surprised to see such an extensive selection of plus size costumes. There were costumes in plus sizes for me and my husband. He was interested in the caveman outfit. Next it was a Viking king. He couldn’t decide which macho man he wanted to be. I ran across a great selection of costumes for full figured women. You could find everything from a pirate woman to a vamping vixen. I could see why my husband was having a hard time choosing from all the plus size halloween costumes. I had trouble choosing my costume too. We checked out all the costumes they had and they all seemed to be perfect. But I finally decided that the wicked queen plus size costume was the one for me. I loved the way it was styled. It also came at a good price.

My husband needed some advice, when it came to making a final decision. I chose the pirate costume for him. I thought he would make a really sexy looking rogue pirate. I didn’t particularly care for the Viking costume he was considering. It took a little convincing, but I got him to order the pirate costume. We also got him an eye patch and boots for his outfit. Now that I had him going on the pirate idea, he wanted a sword for his costume too. I was amazed at the nice costumes they had in plus sizes. There was quite a selection of costumes for plus size girls to wear. I really didn’t expect them to have such nice plus size holloween costumes.

Of course as soon as we got our costumes we tried them on. I was right about the pirate costume. I loved the way he looked in it. They were some fantastic looking costumes. Even the kids were happy with their choices. This was the best place to get costumes for the whole family. Now everyone is taken care of for Halloween night. Now we just have to get through an evening with our neighbors at their Halloween party. I let my husband know that if he excepted anymore invitations I’d run him through with his pirate sword.
