We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. Choosing the Right professional wedding album!
Monday, November 30th, 2009After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. After I got the invitations out of the way, my next step was finding the right dress for a beach wedding. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.
The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two leather wedding albums. I want pictures of everything and everyone at our wedding, all the gorgeous decorations, and our lovely reception. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. There were so many other beach themed accessories to choose from, along with our gorgeous wedding album. The little beach chairs I found worked out perfectly as place card holders and they made great little picture frames too. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

Friday, November 27th, 2009A theme wedding is my favorite. They truly can be a lot of fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. The ceremony and reception was done in country western.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They made such a handsome couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was spectacular. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. There were bales of hay stacked here and there with corn stalks on the barn doors. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. It was the perfect novelty topper. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. That was such a unique idea.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was plenty of great food to choose from. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. It was a great country western themed reception.
A beach themed reception is another great party to go to. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Not only was the ceremony fantastic, but the reception was exceptional too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding cakes she had put together. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.
