I started looking for all the accessories and supplies I needed for our wedding day, just as soon as we set the date. I’m an online shopaholic, so, my first course of action was to hit the web. With all the great accessories and reception supplies I found online, it was easy to find what I needed for our wedding. From invitations to fantastic wedding favors gifts for our guests, they had it all.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
So the first thing I did was to order the beach themed wedding invitations and get them in the mail as soon as possible. There were no no’s in the RSVP’S, and they all seemed to be really looking forward to our wedding day. My bridal accessories were the next thing on my wedding list that I would need. Shopping online has almost become a hobby for me, but even I couldn’t believe what a wonderful selection of wholesale bridal accessories they had to offer. I ordered the most beautiful tiara and hair comb from there. The wedding jewelry I found was just as gorgeous as the hair accessories I chose. I ordered a beautiful necklace and earring set that looked absolutely fantastic with my gown. It had little pearls and crystals entertwined and gave such a luxurious sparkle to my ensemble.
There was an amazing bridal fashion display that was so beautiful and even reasonable in price. There were even a lot of honeymoon accessories available that I ordered. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. There were satin summer dresses for my bridesmaids and my flower girl, that had a knee length hemline. Everyone of them looked stunning and my flower girl was so adorable.
There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. I didn’t want to give our guests some useless wedding favor that would be stuck in a drawer and forgotten, so we gave them beach themed picture frames as thank you gifts. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received.
On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. Our topper was a bride and groom taking a walk along the beach. I’m so glad they had all the supplies and bridal accessories we needed to plan the perfect beach wedding and reception. There was so much seafood, such as lobsters, crabs and shrimp and we also had plenty of chicken and steaks for the non seafood eaters. We danced to some really great tunes and enjoyed the fantastic foods that were prepared and just had one heck of a beach party. If it wasn’t for going on our honeymoon, I never would have left our terrific beach party.
After we returned from our honeymoon, I had to get down to writing all the thank you notes to our guests. That was a day I’ll always remember and I’ll have lots of photos in my beach wedding album to look at and relive again and again.
